Essentials Skin and Wellness Center has instituted the following policies to ensure that you have the best experience possible. Please take a moment to review these policies and contact us if you have any questions or concerns. 


Prices are subject to change without notice. While every effort is made to keep our site as current as possible, some item changes may not have yet been posted. Please confirm current prices when reserving your appointment. We do not accept discounts on our monthly specials, for they are already discounted.

Deposits & Cancellation Policy

Please note that some appointments are subject to a deposit fee. We will notify you at the time of scheduling if this is the case. Deposits are non-refundable. Spa Parties may also be subject to a small deposit at the time of booking in order to reserve your time.

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we kindly ask that you give 24 hours notice. Failure to cancel within 24 hours will result in a 50% service charge. If you no-show an appointment, you will be required to pay for the missed appointment in full before you can reschedule. Gift certificates and package appointments will be forfeited as a result of a no-show.

Arrival Time

Please arrive at least 10-15 minutes before your first service is scheduled to begin. Arriving early gives you a chance to relax and enjoy your treatment and a chance for us to start on time. If you arrive 15 minutes or more beyond the time the first service was scheduled to begin, depending upon the service to be performed, we may need to modify or eliminate your first service. If this is the case and a service is eliminated, we reserve the right to charge a 50% service cancellation charge.

Medical Restrictions

Please inform us if you might be pregnant. Some spa services are not appropriate or safe if you are less than 12 weeks pregnant. It is essential that you inform our front desk staff/spa technician of any conditions that may limit the ability to receive a specific treatment. These include high blood pressure, diabetes, injuries, pregnancy, allergies (both food and medication), past surgeries, recently taken medications (especially photo-sensitizing ones, like Retin-A and Accutane), any sun conditions, and topical creams used (i.e. hydroquinone). We depend on you being as detailed as possible. 

Open Dialogue/Client Confidentiality

As intuitive as our therapists may be, they are at their best when guests express themselves. No two bodies are alike and what feels right to some may not to others, so make your preferences known. You know your body the best and communication with your therapist will only ensure that you get the most out of your treatment. If at any time you experience discomfort, want to focus on a different area, or are simply curious about something, speak up!

All medical and identifying information is used for the sole purpose of making contact with the client and modification of spa services where clinically indicated. There may be times when information is shared with your insurance company and you will be notified if this is the case. Under no circumstances is client information released or transferred to any other person, entity or business.


All of our treatments are performed in private treatment rooms. While services are being performed, you will be completely covered with the exception of the area that is receieving attention left exposed. You will be recovered as the therapist transitions to another area of attention.


We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and Personal Checks. We can not issue cash refunds for the remaining value on Gift Certificates.


At Essentials Skin and Wellness Center, we consider gratuities a gift, not a requirement. 10-20% of the service cost is generally appropriate. Gratuities are not included in the price of the service. Gratuities may be paid by cash, check, credit card, or deducted from your Gift Certificate upon request.


All skin care, hair, body, makeup and other product sales are final. All products may be returned within 2 weeks of the original purchase date and may be exchanged for a product or service of choice.

Gift Certificates

Essentials Skin and Wellness Center offers a variety of Gift Certificates for any occasion. Gift Certificates cannot be refunded for cash value but are transferable for products or services or to another person.


If an Essentials Skin and Wellness Center therapist is billing you interest, please make sure that all insurance information including (but not limited to) insurance card, drivers license, or prescription is available prior to your first appointment. If at any time the insurance is canceled or denied, Essentials Skin and Wellness Center reserves the right to bill you for those services.
